Attendance Policy

 

Uniforms

Martin Luther King Elementary School is a mandatory uniform school.

All students must be in uniform everyday.

School colors are navy blue and white. 

Closed toe shoes must be worn at all times.  No flipflops, mules, or sandals are allowed.

Arrival/Dismissal Procedures: 

Morning supervision is available beginning 7:30 a.m.

Dismissal is at 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday for Pre-Kindergarten through First Grade.

Dismissal is at 3:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday for Second Grade and 2:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Unless students are enrolled in an afterschool program or are participating in a previously scheduled exctracurricular activity, all students must be picked up 15 minutes after their time of dismsissal.

Cafeteria/Lunch

Student l unch is on a staggered basis.

Healthy snacks are sold in addition to cafeteria food.

Reduced        $0.40

Free lunch      $0.00

   

Parents may deposit money into their child's account through the District's Paypal program.
