The dreams and hopes of our namesake are held in high regard here at Martin Luther King Elementary School. Our staff, students, and parents are a diverse, yet tight-knit family dedicated to creating a culture of appreciation and respect for our many different backgrounds.
Developing a strong character and moral code in our students is a priority at MLK Elementary, but it’s only the beginning. MLK magnet school also offers specialized training in early reading. Through several state-of-the-art early reading programs, MLK Elementary students build a strong foundation in reading and technology that will benefit them for years to come.
But perhaps most importantly, MLK Elementary provides a safe environment where students can broaden their horizons and expand their imaginations.
Quite simply, MLK Elementary students don’t just succeed. They soar.
